Là-haut is a free app made by LaCobble. No account, no ads, no tracking, no purchases.

1. Location

Used only if you allow it, at about 3 km accuracy, to ask Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com) for the local weather. Coordinates sent are rounded and not tied to any identifier. You can also pick a place by hand without ever sharing your location.

2. Places and settings

Your favourite places, your profile (stars, sunset, moon) and your settings stay on your iPhone. The chosen place and the latest score are copied to the app's shared container for the widget, which is local too.

3. Notifications

The evening notification is a local notification scheduled by the app, only if you turn it on. No push server.

4. On-device computation

Sun, moon and twilights are computed on the phone. Only the weather forecast is downloaded.

5. This website

This site only uses Google Analytics if you accept it in the cookie banner. The support form opens your email app: nothing is stored by the site.
